Dr. Charles Simonian

Columbus Fencers Club is a USFA member club. The club practices in the Dublin Sport Fencing Center located in the Olde Sawmill Square Shopping Center northeast of Sawmill Rd and I-270. Both individual instruction and group practice times are offered. All instruction in the three weapons is provided by Dr. Charles Simonian, former head varsity fencing coach at The Ohio State University.

The club meets:

Open Session Wednesday 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM
Open Session Friday 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Open Session Sunday 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Adult Beginners * Sunday 11:00 AM - 11:50 AM
Child Beginners * Sunday 1:00 PM - 1:50 PM

* Beginner lessons for children 9-13 and for adults are scheduled on demand. For information about beginner lessons contact Dr. Simonian by phone at home at (614) 488-0572 or by email at: Simonian.1@osu.edu .
The next scheduled beginners classes start on January 20, 2008 and run for 6 weeks.

Membership in the Columbus Fencers Club also requires membership in the Dublin Sport Fencing Center, for which a separate fee charged, and includes floor fees and attendance on any days the center is open. Columbus Fencers Club has several fee plans to suit the individual needs of its members.

From I-270, exit at Sawmill Rd, heading north. Turn right on Summer Drive and then immediately left into the mall parking lot. DSFC is located approximately in the center of the strip mall.
